Newborn Photography COVID-19 Studio Cleaning

Cleaning our newborn photography studio, props and outfits has always been a top priority for us. However with COVID-19, it’s vital that we take extra precautions. I am going to share with you here, some of the things we are doing to make sure we aligned with excellent safety standards.

When posing and photographing newborn babies we always have their safety and comfort in mind.  Babies under 2-3 months of age have a fragile immune system, and they cannot fight viruses or bacteria.

Here is a checklist of things that we have thought through, that will be a standard for us.

  • Our studio space is cleaned before and after each session with detergents and disinfectants.

    • There will be at least 24 hours between each client session-only one per day.

  • We will touch base with every client the day of to confirm they are well. Any client showing symptoms will be rescheduled.

  • The number of people allowed in the studio at one time is limited to immediate family members only.

  • All shoes will be removed before entering the studio.

  • Hand sanitizer is available and will be used regularly and throughout the session.

  • We will do our best to maintain at least 6 feet between us and others as much as possible.

All studio spaces will be cleaned before and after every session using a hospital grade cleaner.

  • We will pay special attention to frequently touched surfaces such as tabletops, door handles, light switches, etc.

  • We will clean all items used in the sessions such as backdrops, wraps, bonnets, outfits, and more!

We are taking the precautions very seriously because YOU are important. Your babies are important. We also have a COVID-19 contract for you to sign as well for your safety and ours. If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to contact us. We are here to capture all those little details and give you a keepsake to cherish forever.
